I never got my part they sold out but were prompt to tell me and offer my money back. I let it go for about a week and when i asked for a refund it tood about three mins with no questions. If i need anymore parts would for sure try them again.

they did exactly as advertised and i am thus far very happy with the quality of the job. i sent an xBox in for repair. It would have been nice to get an email saying that the received it and another saying that they have shipped it back.

Service was good, my sent out YLoD PS3 came back good as new. Took just over a week total.
Only hiccup was a glitch in their records system, but it was all cleared up with a single call.

Better than Sony, since Sony doesn't guarantee they won't wipe your hard drive. Or just replace your system, which is bad if you have a backwards compatible PS3.

the website for ordering was confusing. it seemed like it was a generic page for getting repair service. i would suggest updating the page so that if you order a part, it removes any data pertaining to service.

PS3 LASER failure - Ordered a replacement LASER assembly from KGR. Part was received within three days of placing the order online. Followed KGR's instructional video on replacing the LASER assembly with no problems. Time spent replacing assembly... 10-15 minutes. Problem solved.

I just got my X-Box back from these kool kat's, and it works like a charm! It cost me $70.00 for repairing a fried GPU and a high powered fan. The 'ol boy even did some modifications and upgrades for free...yes you heard right, FREE. This meant a lot to me as I have been unemployed for over a year, and it was all the money I could muster to have the repairs done. I highly recommend this establishment for any and all gaming need's. They had X-Box 360 controllers for $20.00 that retail for $50.00. I don't need one now but when I do I'll be back. There is a certain kind of computer geek charm to the joint I found fun...well as fun as getting your console fixed could be anyway.The were pleasant and professional about the whole process. I got my console back within the 72 hour time they quoted me just like the website states. Apparently for an additional twenty bones they will get it to you within a couple hour's. May 15, 2010 I had a Sony PS3 which would no longer read discs. After calling Sony, their technician advised me that the laser was most likely the cause. As the unit was out of warranty, I looked around and found Knights Gaming Repair. I spoke personally with Dustin, the owner, on the telephone and he was very polite and courteous. I ordered the replacement laser and Dustin's instructional video and they arrived within two days. I called Dustin a few times during my repair--with a few specific technical questions--and he always took the time to answer me. In the end, the laser wasn't the problem, rather the controller card. At this point, I found out that my Sony warranty had been "doubled," as I had purchased it on a credit card that offered this protection. I disassembled the new laser and shipped it back to Dustin and he promptly gave me a full refund and let me keep his instructional video at no charge. Sometimes how one recovers from a problem is very important in the final analysis. After my concerns were addressed by Dustin Knight, the business flow went well. I am satisfied even though at first it seemed hard to get the ball rollling. As a point of concern, the website implies flat rate for repairing products--no mention is made of parts costs until later in the evolution. Srongly recommend this be corrected and clearly defined. "The best surprise is no surprise."‎

Don't get burned like the majority of us were.
Dustin talked good but KGR's actions were poor quality service. He never gave me the refund he promised for not fixing the BlueRay AND I had to pay $135 to get it fixed right elsewhere.
